Chorki’s mystery-thriller “Munshigiri” will debut on 30 September, starring National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury and Purnima in the lead roles.
Chanchal took to his Facebook account to reveal the release date of the film.
Based on Shibarata Barman’s novel “Mriterao Kotha Bole,” the film revolves around an investigative police officer tackling a mysterious case.
“Munshigiri” marks the much-anticipated return of the actor-director duo Chanchal Chowdhury and Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, who were last seen in the 2016 film “Aynabaji.”
Directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and written by Naseef Amin, the film stars Chanchal Chowdhury as Masood Munshi, Purnima as his wife, Suraiya Akhter, Shabnam Faria as Parveen Sultana and others.
