Light to moderate rain likely across country

Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh.

And lightning flashes may occur at different parts of the country in 24 hours as of 9am on Wednesday.

At one or two places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Some places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, said a met office bulletin issued here.

Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 34.5℃ at Chuadanga and on Tuesday.

The minimum temperature 24.5℃ was at Tetulia.

The highest rainfall during the last 24 hours till 6am on Tuesday.

It was recorded at 131mm in Mongla.

The sun sets at 6.50pm on Tuesday.

And rises at 5.14am on Wednesday in the capital.
