While online classes will resume from Tuesday.
The decisions were made at a Syndicate meeting of the university held on Sunday evening.
The university’s registrar, Ishfaqul Hussain, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Physical classes will begin on February 22, given that there is no extension of the closure of educational institutions.
The Syndicate meeting was presided over by VC Farid Uddin Ahmed.
The authorities announced the closure of the halls on January 16 after a group of agitating.
Students confined Vice-Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed during a demonstration.
On Saturday, the students called off their agitation after 27 days.
The university will also celebrate its 31st founding anniversary on Monday.
Every year, the day is celebrated amid festivity.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, during her meeting with the university’s teachers on Friday.
Called on the university authorities to celebrate this year’s anniversary like all previous years, said the registrar.
She also urged them to bring normalcy to the academic activities of the university until there was a decision on the removal of the VC.
